The 17-80mm Optimo has the following characteristics:

  • Superb image quality from T2.2 open aperture 
  • Perfect homogeneity of color, contrast and resolution with low distortion
  • No ramping, minimal breathing
  • Internal focus, internal zoom, constant lens volume
  • Precise and ergonomic focus ring with scale rotation of 329 degrees & over 50 focus marks.
  • Compatible with Optimo 1.4x and 2x extenders:
    • 24-112mm T3 (with 1.4x extender)
    • 34-160mm T4.4 (with 2x extender)
  • Image coverage: 35 mm academy – 28 mm diagonal, with 1.4x extender - image coverage becomes S35+: 31.4 mm diagonal
